Fairytale Festival 2026

18th Jul 2026 - 1st Sep 2026

Create your own magical summer story at Fairytale Farm

Saturday 18 July to Tuesday 1 September 2026
Open daily, 10am–5pm

Step into a summer filled with stories, games, animals and adventure at Fairytale Farm’s Fairytale Festival.

Throughout the school holidays, families can take part in interactive storytelling, puppet activities, trail games and animal experiences, as well as exploring all the attractions around the Farm. There will be changing activities throughout the day, with our Fairytale Festival hosts helping visitors become part of the story.

Your admission also includes a ride on our new attraction, Journey to Alice’s Wonderland, where families travel aboard a colourful snail through scenes inspired by Lewis Carroll’s famous stories.

Festival activities

Interactive storytelling

Don’t just listen to the story—become part of it. Our Fairytale Festival hosts will invite children and their families to take on characters, help shape the action and become the heroes of their own tales.

Puppet activities

Meet our puppets, learn how a puppet show is brought to life and have a go yourself. Sessions will be led by our festival hosts at selected times during the day.

Summer trail games and challenges

Follow the trail around Fairytale Farm and test your skills with a changing selection of games and challenges for the whole family.

Snow White’s Prize Draw

Answer five questions about the classic story of Snow White and enter our summer prize draw.

One lucky family will win a Fairytale Farm Family Annual Pass worth £150.

Animal experiences

Enjoy special opportunities to meet some of Fairytale Farm’s friendly animals during our scheduled animal sessions:

  • Feed a Furry Friend
  • Chucks & Ducks
  • Alpaca Chatter

Morning sessions will feature some of our smaller furry and feathered residents, with alpacas and other animals appearing during the afternoon.

Session times and participating animals may vary according to animal welfare requirements and weather conditions.
