Fairytale Farm’s ‘psychc’ alpaca takes the World Cup by storm

Fairytale Farm’s Alfie the Alpaca has taken the world’s media by storm this week when he swapped herding for football punditry by attempting to predict the outcome of each of England’s and Wales’s games in the group stages of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Using two separate feeding stations for each match in Group B, Alfie was tasked with choosing between the English feeding station, the Welsh feeding station, and those of Iran and USA.

Alfie also predicted the outcome of the potentially crucial match between England and Wales.

Alfie carried out his predictions at Fairytale Farm on Tuesday 15 November 2022.

Alfie appeared on several TV programmes, including This Morning with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, GB News with Angela Rippon and ITV News. Alfie also appeared in newspapers from around the world, including many UK national papers such as Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, Daily Express, The Sun, Daily Star, Evening Standard and Metro. He was also discussed on the Hawksbee and Jacobs Show on talkSPORT Radio.

His predictions in full for the Group B games (winner in brackets):

  • England v Iran (Iran)
  • USA v Wales (USA)
  • Wales v Iran (Wales)
  • England v USA (England)
  • Iran v USA (USA)
  • Wales v England (England).

England and the USA will therefore progress to the knockout stages (according to Alfie!).

Come and see Alfie every day at Fairytale Farm, open from 10am to 5pm.

Team Alfie (l to r): Jack Brennan, Adele Bridgman, Nick Laister and Liam White.
