Easter Egg-stravaganza at Fairytale Farm

We are holding a unique Easter event right through the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend (14th to 17th April). Our Giant Rabbit Burrow is open all weekend (until 4.30pm on Easter Monday), so come along and meet the Easter Bunny. Visitors can explore this indoor Burrow, meet the Easter Bunny, listen to the Bunny telling an Easter story and every child will receive a full size Easter egg. There is lots more to do at Fairytale Farm this Bank Holiday weekend, including an Easter Egg Hunt and a chance for kids to colour our Easter pictures. There will be egg-shaped cookies to decorate and there is a giant golden egg to be found, which the Easter Bunny has hidden away somewhere on our Enchanted Walk trail.

And you can meet our latest arrival, a baby lamb. There will be opportunities to pet the lamb (and, on a first-come-first-served basis, to bottle feed her).

Burrow admission is £3.25 per child, including Bunny Tale and Easter Egg. (Standard farm admission charges apply).

February half term activities

Fairytale Farm has now reopened for the 2017 season and there is lots to do to keep the little ones entertained this half term.

Valentine's Cookies

Fairytale Farm’s Craft Activity Workshop runs right through the February half term week - fully inclusive in the admission price. Under 5s can create a love bug bookmark to give as a Valentine’s gift to mums and dads. And if you are not into crafts, try your hand at decorating a Valentine cookie. It will be great fun, and all in our lovely warm cafe!

We hope people will like the changes we have made during the closed season. Visitors this half term will be able to try out our brand new interactive features along the Enchanted Walk: press a button and find out what happens! Have your picture taken by our Giant's Camera and send it to yourself by email, then marvel at our new, interactive musical dancing water fountains. We have revamped our unique Mouse Town, so experience the family of mice in a whole new light as they explore our beautifully crafted model village. See some new animals in ‘Alfie & Friends’, our animal zone - you will love our new rare breed pigs who look like sheep with their curly coats!

The Farm is open every day until 24th December 2017.

Fairytale Farm ready for a sparkling Christmas

Santa and elves in Grotto

Click here for details of the 2017 Christmas Fairytale event.

Fairytale Farm has announced details of its 2016 Christmas Fairytale event. Our Christmas Fairytale is on Saturdays and Sundays from 3rd December to 18th December and then daily 19th to 24th December. Click here to buy discount tickets online.

Owner Nick Laister says that the Fairytale Farm team has been working right through the year to make the 2016 Christmas Fairytale the best ever: "We have new Christmas activities and new and improved Christmas lights and some changes to our grotto. We have a magical illuminated grotto entrance, and every parent of a child who visits Santa will get a mince pie and mulled wine."

Nick adds: "Visitors of all ages will be able to join in with various festive activities, enjoy all the usual Fairytale Farm attractions and see our enchanting Christmas lights. Special Christmas activities include Christmas cookie decorating, a chance to find clues to discover Santa's favourite Christmas carol and Christmas colouring. But the highlight for every child is sure to be the visit to see Santa in his indoor fairytale grotto where they will be able to have a chat with the man himself and receive a lovely present from Santa's workshop. And children who visit before Christmas Eve will get a chance to write to Father Christmas  with their wish list and post it in our special SantaMail post box."

The animal areas and adventure playground will be open until dusk, after which we switch on our Christmas lights, creating a wonderland of colour.

Grotto tickets are £5.20, plus normal farm admission, and this includes Santa visit, gift, Christmas cookie decorating plus the mince pie and mulled wine for the parents and all the other Christmas activities that the whole family can join in. Non-farm visitors can still meet Santa for £7.99.

Please note that Mouse Town - which has been specially themed for Christmas - will be open between 12.30 and 1.30pm each day.
