Help us Build a Turkey Shed and Garden Bench with Ecobricks

Eco-Bricks

Get involved and help us to reduce plastic waste into the environment!

We are pleased to announce that we are working closely with Co-op Chipping Norton food store on a new initiative, ‘The Co-op Chipping Norton Ecobrick programme’, to reduce single use plastic in the environment.

The plan is to build a childrens garden bench and a turkey shed with Ecobricks and have it sited here, at Fairytale Farm for all our visitors to enjoy.

We’d welcome our visitors to get involved in making as many Ecobricks as possible – the target is around 1,000. It’s simple and fun – click here to see just how simple it is!

We’ll keep you posted on the unveiling.

Two weeks of Easter fun (6th to 22nd April 2019)

Fairytale Farm's unique Easter event is back for 2019, and we have loads of new attractions for you to see throughout the Easter holidays.

We have various activities running right through the entire Easter holidays (6th April to 22nd April). See our beautiful new interactive Easter display, Mother Goose's Garden Party, where you can meet the animated Mother Goose and her friends. There is a chance for children and adults to pet our adorable rabbits and guinea pigs (you won't want to put them down!). There will be free egg-shaped cookies to decorate inside the Beanstalk Cafe, an opportunity to colour our Easter pictures in the Play Room and visitors can create an Easter lamb in our craft corner.

And for the Easter Weekend (Good Friday 19th April to Easter Monday 22nd April 2019)...

For the Easter Weekend itself (19th-22nd April 2019) we have some additional activities. Visitors can explore our Giant Rabbit Burrow and meet the Easter Bunny, who will tell an Easter story, and every child will receive a full size Easter egg.

We also have a Golden Egg Hunt, running throughout the Easter Weekend. The Easter Bunny has hidden six golden eggs somewhere on our Enchanted Walk trail - find their location and win a chocolate prize.

With the exception of meeting the Easter Bunny, all activities are completely free. A visit to meet the Easter Bunny is £3.75 per child, including Bunny Tale and Easter Egg. (Standard farm admission charges apply).

Tickets for our Christmas Fairytale now available - online only

Christmas Event

Join us for a Christmas Fairytale - Saturdays and Sundays from 1st to 23rd December and on Christmas Eve.

At our magical event, visitors can enter our brand new fairytale castle and take a journey to the North Pole. After getting our penguins to dance, you will walk though the Toymaker's Christmas cottage and then witness Santa's sleigh all ready for its Christmas journey into a starlit night. Then meet Santa himself in his cosy fairytale grotto, which evokes an atmosphere of a bygone age. Every child visiting our Grotto will receive a present from Father Christmas.

Visitors to our enchanting grotto have commented about the relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail, and this year there is so much more to see than ever before. It really is a festive experience like no other.

You can also join in with various Christmas activities around the Farm, including Christmas cookie decorating, a festive-themed hunt and there is mulled wine and a mince pie for every parent. Plus you can enjoy all the usual Fairytale Farm attractions and see our enchanting Christmas lights, which are bigger and better for 2018.

The animal areas and adventure playground will be open until dusk, after which we switch on our Christmas lights, creating a wonderland of colour.

Grotto tickets are £5.70, plus normal admission, and this includes Santa visit, gift, Christmas cookie decorating plus the mince pie and mulled wine for the parents. Tickets are only available online, and cannot be purchased at the farm admissions desk. We only have a set allocation of tickets for each day and once these have sold out no further slots will be available.

Buy your online tickets here

Please note that Mouse Town - which has been specially themed for Christmas - will only be open between 12.30 and 1.30pm.
